Recommending the best web design software can be subjective, but I’ll try and be as objective as possible with this one…

Being involved in creating websites for personal use and for customers (from small businesses to large international companies) since 2001, I used many web design software packages such as FrontPage (Microsoft), Dreamweaver and many others.

Many web designers will tell you that Dreamweaver is their tool of choice. However for beginners, Dreamweaver has a very steep learning curve and is way too expensive.

Since 2006, I started to teach beginners how to create their own websites. Obviously, this forced me to find web design software that is not only easy to master, but also powerful enough for users to grow into more advanced options. And obviously – it must be affordable.

To cut a long story short, I decided on a neat piece of web design software that I use every day to train newbies to web design.

Here are the three main reasons for my choice:
